New Apple iPod launched with video camera and FM radio

Apple has introduced new features in its popular iPod music player. Unveiled by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple in San Francisco, the new Apple iPod nano comes with a built-in video camera, a bit larger 2.2inch screen and FM radio.The new iPod nano has a polished anodized aluminum finish in nine attractive colours.

Video camera in nano allows the users to record video in portrait or landscape or add video effects and produce high-quality images suitable for Facebook or MobileMe, Apple says.

As for prices, the 8GB iPod nano would cost $149 while 16GB Apple iPod is priced at $179.

With FM radio, nano users can listen as well as see

Apple iPod nano has some special features in its FM Radio – Tagging and Live Pause. You can see the names of songs and artists while you are listening to the radio. The Live Pause feature enables the listeners to pause or rewind or fast forward to catch up to the live broadcast.

Other high-end models – iPod touch and iPod classic also undergo changes in price and capacity. iPod touch series will now have another version with 64GB high capacity. iPod classic will get 160GB version.
