BE to launch broadband – home phone trial for selected customers
High-speed broadband provider, BE has announced its plans to launch home phone service trial for which the ISP would select 70 volunteers from its own customers as well as from non-BE members.
With its parent company O2 already offering landline service, BE has set to launch its own home phone – broadband bundle after a couple of months.
Being the first provider to offer 24Mbps broadband in UK, BE claims that more than half of its own members want to get both broadband and landline deal from the same internet service provider.
This means that they could get the convenience of a single monthly bill as well as save a little bit of money compared to what they currently pay for a BT line, according to Tom Williams, Head of BE Broadband.
BE would offer three options to the customers who take landline and broadband together:
The Basic package will include broadband and line rental without any call plan. The second option would allow the customers to include Evening and weekends call plan. However, with Anytime Package, you can call people in 22 countries.
The 70 participants for the forthcoming trial would get 50% off in BE landline package deal for 12 months, BE has announced.
Since it is open to all, anyone who is interested, can visit BE’s website to register for the trial before 9th July.
