The number of businesses opting for faster broadband services driven by higher bandwidth-hungry applications, has been on rise, according to Nigel Stagg, Managing Director of BT Business. Seeing the increasing demand for very fast broadband connections in business areas, BT would also increase coverage across the UK during the current year, he added.
“BT Business Total Broadband Fibre gives businesses capacity and reliability, with the reassurance of a priority service, to enjoy the best possible online experience.” he said.
BT Total broadband options offer faster connection speeds such as 20Mbps and 40Mbps only through the exchanges that are enabled with ADSL 2+ and Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) broadband technologies.
Provider BT hopes to connect more than one-thirds (40%) of UK homes with its fibre to the cabinet broadband lines just before the London Olympics begins in 2012.
