Virgin Media, one of the major mobile broadband operators in the UK, would soon launch its 4G trials using the 2.6GHz spectrum band.

Using 800MHz spectrum for next generation, very fast mobile broadband could result in interference and degrade Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) signals in some areas, Ofcom said in a statement.
