BT takes away speed restrictions on unlimited broadband packages

BT customers who currently use its unlimited broadband packages will not be subject to fair usage policy (FUP) from next month, the broadband provider has announced today.

Broadband provider BT has revealed its new wireless router ‘Home Hub 3‘ which gets launched by the end of this month.

BT benefits from stronger Retail broadband performance

BT Group said its Retail division which offers home and business broadband products to its UK customers added 188,000 customers during the three month period that ended on 31st December 2010.

According to BT’s latest financial results, total broadband net additions via its nation-wide broadband network jumped from 253,000 in Q3 2010 to 356,000 in Q4 2010 with BT Retail accounting for more than half of the net additions (53%) in the latest quarter. more »

BT is planning to launch a new wholesale product that will help broadband ISPs to deliver video contents with better quality.
