Broadband and BT Vision boost BT profits
The latest Q3 financial results released by BT Group shows that its broadband division has added more than 250,000 new connections during the three months period that ended 30 September 2010.
BT Total broadband (BT Retail) which offers home and business services accounts for 114,000 net additions in the quarter while the total broadband base of the ISP has reached 5,341,000, the report shows. more »
BT offers 3D Vision IPTV service to broadband customers
BT customers who have signed up to its triple play broadband packages (broadband, calls & TV) can watch popular 3D films from the end of this month, it has been announced.

With the installation of its public Wi-fi hotspot at Charing Cross Tube station, Internet Service Provider BT will now have a chain of 2 million hotspots across the UK.
Being the largest wi-fi hotspot provider, BT offers free, unlimited access to its wi-fi network to its broadband customers. BT broadband users can use wireless broadband at hotspots via their Home Hub/Business Hub wireless routers. more »
