Sky to launch online music store for broadband users
BSkyB will launch Sky Songs, a new online music service that would offer music downloads to Sky broadband customers with a starting fee of £6.49 a month.
Sky extend free Sky+ HD setup for limited period
Sky announced cheaper setup cost on its products that include Sky +HD box digital service. Customers who take just Sky+ HD boxes or bundle Sky+ HD with multiroom combinations, will get free Sky +HD setup until 26 September, 2009.
Sky reports growth in broadband uptake, reach 2.2m
Sky Broadband customers are reported to be around 2,203,000 by the end of June 2009, reports the latest second quarter results from the ISP. Both the figures of Sky broadband and Sky Talk (phone service) indicate significant growth in the recent quarter.
