Orange Mobile UK launch Apple iPhones on 10 November

UK mobile operator Orange is to offer Apple iPhones to its customers via its network of shops from 10 November, it was reported.

Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS will be available with many monthly and pay as you go mobile plans for Orange home and business customers.

Orange has also revealed price details for the new products. Apple iPhone 3GS is free for the customers who take any of £45 a month plan while iPhone 3G comes free with £30 plans. These plans come with 24 month contract and offer 750MB data usage per month.

Orange PAYG customers will need to pay £333 for iPhone 3G handset which comes with 250MB data usage per month and unlimited access to BT Openzone for a year.

Orange chief executive Tom Alexander expects the iPhone sales could hit 250,000 soon after the launch.

“We will be matching their enthusiasm with a 3G mobile broadband network that covers more people in the UK than any other operator, a commitment to deliver the best 3G experience on the iPhone, and best-in-class applications and plans, ” he added.
