Orange upgrades Home broadband speeds to 20Mbps

ISP Orange UK has upgraded the download speed of its Home broadband packages from 8Mbps to 20Mbps on its unbundled (LLU) lines. All Orange home broadband deals will also offer unlimited downloads every month at no extra cost. (Earlier, Orange Home Starter was capped with 10GB per month)

Orange has also reduced the prices of its broadband offerings as its Home Starter package with pay monthly phone or mobile will cost just £7 a month. Orange offers both broadband only deals and broadband & mobile packages.

Orange has also added a new package, Home Ultra which will cost £10.50 a month, if taken with Orange pay monthly phone or a pay monthly SIM.

All Orange home broadband offers come with 18 month contract which may sound a bit lengthy, comparing to one month or three month contract options offered by other UK ISPs.

Orange customers who are outside its LLU network will not get the new  ADSL 2+ speeds, but would receive speeds up to 8Mbps.
