TalkTalkCustomers of TalkTalk Essentials (40GB monthly usage) will get free upgrade to 24Mbps speed, it was reported.

UK’s third largest broadband provider, TalkTalk offers two broadband and phone package deals – Essentials and Pro. TalkTalk Essentials customers will now move to faster 24Mbps lines, while the monthly cost remains unchanged at £18.48 per month (includes line rental).

TalkTalk Pro customers who are already on 24Mbps network, will see the P2P traffic restrictions on their usage be removed by the ISP. TalkTalk Pro offers unlimited monthly downloads, wireless N router, free unlimited UK landline anytime calls and free customer support for £26.48 per month (includes line rental).

Both TalkTalk broadband packages come with free setup and 18 month contract. However, along with the latest offer, TalkTalk customers would also see the line connection fee being raised from £59.99 to £69.99.

Recently, TalkTalk revealed its plans to add mobile broadband service to its product line to offer quadplay broadband deals to their customers by this year. Currently, ‘quadplay’ (broadband, phone, tv and mobile broadband from the same provider) packages are offered by the rival ISPs like Virgin Media and Sky.
