One year free broadband for TalkTalk new customers
New customers who are joining TalkTalk broadband on a 24 month contract will get FREE broadband for one year plus calls. However, a one-off setup cost of £29.99 will apply.
After 12 months, the deal would cost £18.48 per month.
New TalkTalk broadband offer will provide 8Mbps download speed, 40GB monthly usage allowance and free wireless router. Subscribers can make unlimited local calls plus evening & weekend calls to UK landline numbers.
TalkTalk, the broadband division of Carphone Warehouse has the largest unbundled (LLU) broadband lines in the UK and has over 4.1m broadband customers.
Recently, TalkTalk absorbed Tiscali broadband base, which it acquired last year and became the total entity and the close rival to BT, in the fixed line broadband market.
Meanwhile, BT Wholesale is expected to sell the fibre to the cabinet (fttc) broadband network to the LLU providers, especially, TalkTalk and BSkyB, once the rollout is completed.
In a recent review of the BT’s super-fast broadband networks, both the broadband suppliers asked BT to come with better flexibility in its offering to make it attractive to the LLU providers who can then differentiate their products from their competitors’.
