Virgin Media mobile broadband upgrade the speed to 7.2Mbps

Virgin Media is to launch a new mobile broadband package that would offer 7.2Mbps download speed.

By upgrading 3.6Mbps to 7.2Mbps speeds, Virgin Media mobile broadband would now compete with Vodafone which offers similar mobile broadband speeds through its dongles.

New higher speed service would cost just £9.99, if taken on a 18 month contract, or the customers will need to pay £34.99 for the dongles by choosing one month contract option.

Existing Virgin Media broadband, phone or TV customers can get 1GB and 3GB mobile broadband deals for just £8 and £12 a month, while the same deals would cost £10 and £15 a month for non-Virgin Media customers.
