New Vodafone 360 app launched to enhance social networking experience

UK mobile operator and ISP, Vodafone has launched a new Internet based service that would help its customers to stay in touch at anytime.

Vodafone 360, the new service would provide a variety of services like integrating all social networks and letting the people to find their firends and associates on a map or even see how their friends are connected.

Vodafone customers can access the service on both PC and mobile handsets, and can also access music, videos and other apps through this social networking application, it was reported. Most of the existing Vodafone mobiles can be used to use the new app. Two new mobiles designed by Samung were also launched to use this service.

Vodafone says that the new service would offer all contacts in one place. People can see contacts from MySpace, MSN Messenger and Facebook on their mobiles or PCs.

Pieter Knook, Vodafone Group’s director of Internet Services said:

“The beauty of Vodafone 360 is that all the services work together and they are easy to use. Vodafone 360 enables customers’ digital lives.”

“Customers can stay in touch and share experiences through social networks, instant messaging, email, apps, maps, music and buying digital content on their mobile bill, with the personalised address book at its heart.”

The new service provides support to MAC computers so MAC users can also access this service.
