New wi-fi mobile router to access T-Mobile broadband
Novatel Wireless and the Carphone Warehouse have teamed up to launch wi-fi mobile router, according to a report.
With this new mobile hotspot device ‘Novatel MiFi 2352′, mobile broadband users can connect up to five wi-fi enabled devices to access T-Mobile’s 3G mobile broadband network in UK.
The new device can be used like a wi-fi hotspot and you can connect up to five devices including laptops, portable media players and consoles and use your mobile broadband.
Andrew Harrison, the UK Chief Executive Officer for the Carphone Warehouse said:
“With freedom from hotspots, users can leverage the device to access email, check their social networks and download files from anywhere there is a mobile connection, including moving trains or vehicles,”
Recent report on USB dongles from ABI Research revealed that MiFI mobile routers could replace the existing USB modems in the future.
T-Mobile becomes the third mobile broadband ISP after 3 Mobile and Vodafone Mobile to offer their mobile broadband via mobile routers.
3 Mobile has also announced the price details of it Mi-fi broadband offerings.
