UK’s Mobile phone provider, three has joined forces with Spotify UK to provide new music streaming service, Spotify Mobile with its forthcoming HTC Hero smartphone which will cost £99. Three provider will extend this service to other mobile broadband customers later.

BT Wholesale to cut prices of its 24Mbps broadband products

BT Wholesale announced price cuts on its 24Mb broadband products offered to UK broadband providers on wholesale basis. New line rental will be £5.88 per month as against the previous £7.66 while monthly bandwidth charges on its WBC platform have been reduced to £40.00 from £79.34.

Ofcom publish guides to parental controls and children online safety

Ofcom report on child on-line safety reveals that majority of youngsters need some sort of guidance to face the online threats like abuse and online bullying. The UK telecom watchdog has also published two guides to parental controls for mobile phones and game consoles and media players.
