Fibrus is adding a TV add-on to Fibrus full fibre broadband. Fibrus TV runs on Netgem’s PLEIO platform and 4K box, and it is due to go live in mid-September 2026.
This is not a Sky or Virgin Media-style broadband and TV bundle. Broadband stays the main product. Fibrus TV is an extra monthly add-on on that full fibre line.
The service uses the home broadband connection. Freely live TV arrives over the fibre line, so there is no need for an aerial or a satellite dish.
Fibrus TV on the PLEIO box
PLEIO is a compact 4K IPTV box. It plugs into the television and draws live TV, apps and games from the broadband line rather than from a rooftop feed.
Fibrus is offering the box as a paid add-on to its retail broadband. The same hardware is also sold on Amazon for £99. That retail bundle includes the box, a remote, a gamepad and 12 months of premium content.
Live channels, apps and cloud games
Fibrus TV includes more than 100 live channels. Those channels include BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 through Freely.
The pack also includes more than 150 extra streamed channels, streaming and entertainment apps from the Google Play Store, and a library of more than 300 cloud games.
That combination is the same PLEIO formula other full fibre ISPs have already put on sale: live TV without an aerial, on-demand apps on the same box, and cloud gaming through the bundled controller.
Launch price and start date
Fibrus TV is due the week after the 8 September 2026 announcement, which puts the start in mid-September.
The launch price is £7.99 a month. The standard price is £9.99 a month.
Fibrus has not yet published the extra detail customers usually want before they add a TV product: the exact length of the £7.99 rate, any box fee, the contract term for the TV add-on, and the full channel list. The dedicated page at fibrus.com/tv was not live on 8 September 2026 and was still not available on 10 September 2026.
Fibrus availability in Northern Ireland and Cumbria
Fibrus TV is only for Fibrus broadband customers. Fibrus availability is limited to its own full fibre network in Northern Ireland and Cumbria.
That network now passes 471,800 premises. Fibrus has 155,000 customers, which puts take-up just over 31%.
Check your postcode before ordering Fibrus TV. If the address is outside the Fibrus build, the add-on will not be available, even if a neighbour on another network can already order full fibre.

Other ISPs already using PLEIO
Fibrus is not the first retail ISP to put PLEIO on a full fibre line.
brsk added PLEIO to its broadband bundles in late 2025. Connect Fibre and Wightfibre followed with the same box. Voneus and Zzoomm have since offered the platform as well.

Year-end snapshot
Fibrus also issued a preview of results for the year to the end of March 2026. Revenue reached £45m, up 53% on the year before, while customer numbers stood at 155,000. Full accounts had not been published at the time of the TV announcement.
