BSkyB launches new triple-play broadband package

Broadband and digital TV service provider , BSkyB offers a new package deal that includes broadband, calls and digital TV for under £20 a month.

New customers can take this ‘fairytale offer’ by subscribing ONLINE to two entertainment packs for £19 a month. They will also get Sky Everyday Lite broadband and free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.

Sky Everyday Lite comes with download speeds of 20Mbps and 2GB monthly download allowance and is offered FREE to Sky TV customers who live in its network areas. Outside its network coverage areas, the ISP usually charges £5 a month for providing this light package.

New customers can also claim Marks & Spencer voucher worth £50 when they order Sky TV before June 24th. Additionally, they will also get free Sky+ digital TV set-top box that worth £49 and free installation that usually cost £30.

Subscribers to the new online offer, however, will need to pay £10 upfront and monthly line rental. They can also save money by taking Sky Talk line rental which is just £11 a month, compared to BT’s monthly line rental £12.79.

Sky TV packages offer up to six Entertaiment packs and cost between £18 to £48.50 per month. Its 3D digital TV service had scheduled to broadcast the forthcoming one-day cricket series between England and Bangladesh that start from July 8th.

Sky has recently launched a standalone broadband offer for those who live in its network areas. They can get 20Mbps Sky Unlimited broadband and Calls without susbcribing to its digital TV service for just £10 a month. Sky broadband also includes wireless router worth £50, McAfee online protection and 24/7 customer support.
